About this data

The figures come from the site-level return of NHS England's Estates Returns Information Collection (ERIC) for the 2024/25 financial year, the most recent published. Each trust reports its own average fee charged per hour for patient and visitor parking, so a site showing a fee of zero told NHS England its patient parking is free, while sites that left the question blank are excluded from the rankings rather than assumed either way. Where two sites report the same hourly fee they share a rank.

ERIC covers NHS providers in England only. Concessions for blue badge holders, long-stay caps and drop-off arrangements vary site by site and are not part of this dataset, so the fee shown is the trust's reported average hourly rate rather than what every visitor will pay on the day. The next ERIC release will be imported here as soon as NHS England publishes it, usually each autumn.
